Weight Watchers Recipe of the Day: Low Fat Smoothies with WW Points
Here are some of our favorite low fat smoothie recipes from around the web.
Since we're just tossing ingredients into a blender (affiliate link) and blending for a couple of minutes, it's very easy to over-do-it with certain higher fat ingredients.
Rather than using regular milk or frozen yogurt in your next smoothie, why not give low-fat/non-fat milk (or non-dairy milk) a try?
You can also use plain, non-fat yogurt (which is a great smoothie thickener) and let the other ingredients give your smoothie the flavor you want.
Coconut oil, avocado and nuts/nut butters are also higher in fat, so keep this in mind when planning your frozen concoction.
I know sometimes when I am making my Easy Blueberry Banana Almond Butter Smoothie, I end up dipping my spoon into the almond butter and adding a little more almond butter than I should - but hey, we're all human right?

Today’s food for thought…
“Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts.”
