I remember when fruit pizzas were all the rage. It was a beautiful dessert that fed a crowd.
When you used a roll of pre-made sugar cookie dough it came together pretty easily. But you still had to bake the cookie crust, let it cool, make the cream cheese layer, slice all the fruit, artfully work to arrange it, make the citrus glaze, let it cool and top your masterpiece.

Then once you were done you had to find a way to get the whole thing into your refrigerator!
Back in those days I considered a fruit pizza a healthy dessert. I never stopped to calculate just how many calories I was consuming with a slice.
When I came across this recipe by Aly at whatmomslove.com I had to give it a try. I wondered if a no dough version would really work.

Simple and no fuss. In just 5-minutes I had a festive looking dessert to take to a neighborhood BBQ.
Everyone admired the fruit pie and gave it a big thumbs up. For a refreshing zero-point dessert this one is hard to beat.
