Some easy weight loss tips seem counterintuitive, like this one - Don't Diet!
Have you ever thought about why most diets fail to work?
How many diets have you tried in your life?
Why are diets so popular when they fail again and again?
I've been on dozens of different diets, but none ever lasted very long. I used to think it was me; that I was the problem.
After years of study and experimentation, I now know otherwise.

When you take a close look at them and then compare them to typical human behavior, it's easy to see why so many diets fail. They don't take human behavior and lifestyle issues into consideration.
So the next time you fall off your diet, instead of feeling bad, keep in mind that it wasn't you, but rather the diet that failed...
Top Reasons Why Most Diest Fail
1. They allow too few calories.
When you suddenly reduce your calories severely, you are going to be hungry, which is a recipe for dietary disaster.
It's difficult, if not impossible, to stick to an eating plan that leaves you hungry, because tempting foods are everywhere these days
And it's stressful for your body and mind too.
So before you know it, you will end up overeating, which will lead to you feeling like a failure and resorting to your old less than healthy eating habits before you know what hit you.
2. They eliminate too many foods.
It's easy to design a diet that takes away all the foods you love - pizza, pasta and burgers - except for one thing...
You won't be able to stick with it for very long!
For a healthy eating plan to work, it needs to include the foods you love, so you can stick with it long enough to see results and feel better.
A healthy balanced diet is about eating food you love and indulging when you need to.

3. They ignore the realities of your life.
Most diet plans are just not practical for today's busy lives and limited budgets. It would be much easier to stick with a diet and to lose weight if you had a chef to prepare your food or hours to spend shopping for special foods and then prepping and cooking them.
Everybody's busy. It's a sign of our times. How much time are you willing to spend in the kitchen?
As modern human beings, we eat out, order takeout and hit drive-thrus.
Most of us don't have the time or patience to count calories or fat grams or measure and weigh portions.
The Skinny on Weight Loss: Back to Basics:
We have stressful jobs, homes and families to attend to so our food choices need to be simple, easy, healthy, practical and quick.
Because of these reasons, most of today's popular diets only contribute to the yo-yo effect - short term weight loss followed by long term weight gain, leaving you worse off than if you had never dieted in the first place!
So for lasting weight loss, stop the diet thinking and instead find a style of healthy balanced eating you can live with forever.
For me that means embracing Weight Watchers.
When I thought of Weight Watchers as a "diet," I was not successful keeping the weight off.
When I embraced it as a healthy balanced lifestyle, I was able to lose weight and return to the goal I set back in my late 20s!
