You’ll find a lot of recipes here that mostly focus on simple cooking. It’s my personal recipe file, recipes tested by me, or my friends and family. I love collecting cookbooks and recipes and trying new recipes and have a pretty good ability to pick out the good ones.
In addition to being an avid food lover and home cook, I am also a yoga teacher who loves sharing the benefits of yoga with any and all who will listen. I’ve also struggled with my weight off and on throughout my life and am committed to trying to live the happiest, healthiest, simplest, most fulfilling life I can while working to stay slim, so any of these topics are apt to show up on this blog too.
Keep in mind that for me cooking and recipes are always evolving - I am often tweaking, experimenting, and usually attempting to streamline as much as I can without compromising quality and flavor so the recipes you see here are apt to be revised over time.
I welcome your comments, but respectfully request that if you are to offer constructive criticism, you do it with kindness.
I’ll warn you up front - I am not a photographer, much less a food photographer, so while I will try to take the best pictures I can, please be patient as I work to develop these skills. I’m also a bit technology challenged and am fortunate to have my brother, Peter, who works as a web developer helping me with the more technical aspects of this endeavor.
