Simple Meatloaf Recipe
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Bake Time: 1 hour
Yield: 8 servings
Ingredients
1 envelope (1 ounce) dry onion soup mix
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
2 large eggs
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup ketchup
Directions
1. Place a rack in the center of the oven and preheat the oven to 350 F.
2. In a large mixing bowl mix together all the ingredients until they are well combined. Place the mixture into a 9×13-inch glass or ceramic baking dish and then shape it into a loaf.
3. Bake until done, about 1 hour. Remove from the oven and let rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Cooking Note: For individual meat loaves, place mixture in muffin tins and bake until done, about 30 minutes.
